Thank you for your question. Because Easter Island did not deliver its mystery, a journey overthere is totally magical. The little island is only composed of a single village and the rest of the landscape is full of mysterious Moais, the big wooden statues with big eyes. Even the specialists do not have a single theory about what happened overthere. For this reason, every visitor may settle up his own story.

The people who built the Moais are known to come from Melanesian people in the Pacific. they may arrive in the island by wooden boat and built a entire community. This community would have been separate into different group by a king. From that time, the different groups might have struggled to obtain power ober the other groups.

The Moai are said to be representations of ancesters offered to God. The bigger they Moais were, the stronger a community may appear to the gods.
